Salary : Grade 5 (£24,285 to £27,131) until 31/07/23 an additional 2% will be paid (£24,771 to £27,674)Our client is looking to appoint an Executive Officer to provide high level administrative and project support for the Academic Registrars Office.This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and proactive individual to work as part of a busy and established team. The Academic Registrars Office (ARO) supports major projects within the Directorate and its strategic planning processes, as wellas contributing to business improvement and service delivery excellence. The ARO is also responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance with the Office for Students and managing student appeals and complaints to the University.The role will be wide-ranging and challenging and would be well-suited to someone who is hard working, a quick learner, and keen to understand and help deliver the Universitys activities.About the role:The role is a mix of project work. executive support and office administration. You will provide project management support for important initiatives, develop solutions to complex problems and ensure that efficient and effective administrative support isprovided for the Academic Registrars Office.This varied role will include dealing with and resolving a wide range of matters, which will often be confidential, sensitive or urgent. This post requires first class judgement, personal organisation and a degree of flexibility, as well as an ability towork to absolute deadlines.Well suited to an ambitious and self-starting individual, this role provides a valuable opportunity to gain insight and experience within the Academic Registrars Office.About you:This is a diverse, challenging and rewarding role that demands excellent organisational and communication skills.
