Your future employer is offering an excellent opportunity to join the medical industry as a field service engineer, calibrating a variety of equipment across a wide area. They are offering a very competitive package, commission, bonuses, etc with OTE being£30k-£35k, and commission will start straight away. The ideal candidate does not require any direct engineering experience, but is someone who is committed, eager to learn and wanting to progress their career. Duties and responsibilities for the medical service engineer:* Calibrating and servicing a variety of medical devices, such as; blood pressure monitors, Defibrillators, Centrifuges, Ultrasounds, thermometers and more* Repairing and servicing medical equipment* Speaking with customers and providing great customer service* Working on various public and private healthcare sites* Complete all admin and paperwork duties* Work towards extra earning incentives (bonuses, commission, etc.)Required experience for the medical service engineer:* Strong work ethic* Strong written and verbal communication skills* Full clean UK drivers licence* Happy to travel and stay overnight when requiredThis role requires travel and sometimes staying away from home, depending on the work schedule and location of visits. Direct experience on medical equipment is not a requirement as full training will be given.
