Job Description

End-User Technology Applications Manager, SaaS, PaaS, SCCM, ITIL, Professional Services, RemoteEnd User Technology Applications Manager required to work for a fast growing and exciting Professional Services company based around the country. They have offices in Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds, London, Liverpool and several other UK locations and thisis pretty much remote anyway.We need someone who is ideally connected with certain applications from Professional Services companies. However, it is not essential. Someone connected with the world of SaaS and PaaS is essential and you must have experience with Cloud Technologies (preferablyAzure over AWS). Read on for more detailsSkills and Experience:

  • Experienced in the management of individuals, motivating and leading a team
  • Excellent knowledge and experience of application support and ownership.
  • You will need to have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal to support:
o Client relationship managemento Vendor & license management, inc. SAAS and PAAS offeringso Application portfolio managemento Knowledge and understanding of Business Analysis fundamentals desirable.
  • Experienced in large IT projects and understanding of project methodologies - both Waterfall and Agile.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Change approval and ITIL process.
  • A proactive approach and ability to identify areas of improvement, undertaking analysis to revise internal or business process, adopting the use of automation and other technologies to generate efficiency and cost savings.
  • Confidence in dealing with all levels of the firm, including executive management levels.
  • Demonstrates flexibility and ability to effectively deliver within time critical and changing priorities and supporting team members.
  • Understands the importance of communication and ensuring expectations are managed.
  • Ability to recognise and assess risk and act appropriately with escalation as required.
  • Actively engages in knowledge sharing within the team, IT and the business.
  • ITIL certification desirable
  • Technical knowledge desirable of key IT applications and systems including:
o Application installation process, inc. msi installer technology; Click to Runo Application packaging and deployment technologies including Microsoft SCCM and Intuneo Understanding of Microsoft Windows Server, IIS, SQL, Active Directory, Group Policy, Intuneo Windows 10 physical and virtual desktop environmentso Microsoft Azure Portal, AADo M365o Experience of Incident Management Systems (Service Now preferable)This is a great opportunity and salary is dependent upon experience.
