Job Description

Be at the forefront of innovation and contribute to groundbreaking wireless products that shape the future!As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in our wireless products group, working on exciting projects in a brand new, state of the art office based in Manchester that involve designing, developing, and implementing advanced embeddedsoftware solutions. You will work closely with a team of brilliant engineers and contribute to the entire software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment. Your expertise in C++ programming will be essential in crafting robustand efficient code that enables seamless integration of our cutting-edge wireless technologies.Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and design specifications for wireless products.
  • Develop embedded software solutions using C++ to meet project objectives and technical standards.
  • Implement, debug, and optimize code to ensure the highest levels of performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Conduct thorough unit testing and integration testing to identify and resolve software defects.
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and adherence to best practices.
  • Work closely with hardware engineers to ensure seamless integration of software and hardware components.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in wireless communication protocols.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in C++ programming, with a solid understanding of object-oriented design principles.
  • Experience in embedded software development, preferably in the wireless communication domain.
  • Familiarity with software development tools, debuggers, and version control systems.
  • Knowledge of wireless communication protocols, such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or cellular technologies.
  • Understanding of real-time operating systems and low-level device drivers.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and present technical ideas.
