Job Description

The Growth Company have a great opportunity for a Recruitment Coordinator in our Education and Skills Team to manage the end-to-end candidate recruitment process to fill a range of programmes in order to meet and exceed targets in terms of both start volumesand achievement/retention. This role will also give you the opportunity to train and develop in the training and education space with the options to achieve further qualification including IAG and apprenticeships.Agile working options are available Key Responsibilities:

  • Arrange appropriate advertising of all Apprenticeship vacancies, Traineeships and other programmes to generate applications.
  • Plan, organise and attend internal recruitment events and promote provision to generate interest from candidates with the right skills/experience and aspirations.
  • Conduct quality-driven IAG interviews and assessments.
  • Provide relevant Information, Advice and Guidance to enable the candidate to make an informed choice about their career/qualification.
  • Manage the end-to-end resourcing process for employer vacancies and traineeships in a timely manner to provide a high level of customer service and maximise recruitment.
  • To create employer vacancy opportunities via employer contacts, including speculative submissions of candidates.
  • Update company MI systems as required to log employer and student interactions on a daily basis.
  • Ensure that employers and job roles worked with are appropriate in terms of the provision of work placement and Apprenticeships.
About You:
  • Knowledge of the education environment, nationally and in the Greater Manchester area.
  • Awareness of the differing needs of various target audiences e.g. 15 year old schools, 19+ long-term unemployed.
  • Ability to influence and provide effective candidate solutions.
  • Driven by results, balanced with a real people focus and desire to provide quality IAG to ensure the best outcome for the learner.
Skills Required:
  • Ability to recruit, develop and lead staff in a recruitment setting.
  • Excellent Interviewing Skills.
  • Must have a methodical approach and an eye for detail, organisation skills and excellent IT skills.
  • IAG qualification or willing to work towards.
  • Maths and English A-C GCSE.
