That has brought with it new opportunities for brilliant Business Development and Marketing talent who can help us to demonstrate the firms quality, come up with imaginative ideas and deliver impact.Purpose of the RoleThe Digital and Design Operations Executive is responsible for the day-to-day, operational delivery of web, blog posts, design and some other digital publishing projects. That includes managing the throughput of design materials, web and digital publishing projects, making sure they are delivered on time, on budget and on brief.The position is responsible for: the firms digital publishing and design process; publishes certain web and digital content on a hands-on basis; schedules the delivery of work with internal and external design, web and video specialists or agencies; ensures those suppliers are delivering on time; manages the firms digital brand assets; manages print suppliers; managing digital and design publishing budgets; and is responsible for management reporting of how effective our design and web publishing service is.This role is pivotal to the firms sales and marketing success, by ensuring that the firms design and online content publishing needs are met and delivered both effectively and efficiently.Duties Responsible for day-to-day workflow of all design projects for the firm plus complex web, video and other digital publishing requests. The role places work out to the right internal and external suppliers - designers, Word Processing teams or specialist agencies - and is responsible for ensuring the work is delivered on time, on budget, on brand, per the brief and is of an appropriate standard. To publish web and other digital content on a hands-on basis as required, such as web page content, blog posts, social media content and landing pages. Prioritise and schedule all work briefed into the team, negotiating deadlines and managing expectations with internal clients as required. Own the relationship, and communications with, certain key suppliers - such as our overflow design agency, our preferred marketing printers, our event booth manufacturer, our preferred video supplier and potentially others. Management of the process, and supporting IT systems (e.g. our in-house briefing systems), by which work is briefed into and out of the team, and then delivered back to our internal clients. Keep internal clients informed of progress and estimated delivery dates on their digital and design projects. Actively promote and police best practice for content publishing on the website and social media posting, providing regular training and support to PAs and Business Development professionals on how to use our website content management system and on how to post content on social media. Provide management reports to the Head of Marketing on the design and digital work being delivered for the firm, including recommendations to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our digital and design processes.Ownership and maintenance of the firms digital brand asset library.Escalate complex web requests and non-standard brand requests to the firms Web Exec, Digital Marketing Manager, Senior Designer or Head of Marketing Support marketing campaigns as required.Knowledge, skills and experience required The candidate can come from a design or digital agency, an in-house design or marketing team, or have managed a high volume of project requests in another workflow environment. The ideal candidate will have experience of digital and print media. Must be highly adaptable, highly organised and must be a natural, accomplished communicator. You must be able to manage multiple projects and keep clients informed in a calm, assured and friendly manner. You must have an eye for detail, be able to solve problems, and be able to say no in a professional manner. You will have a strong customer service ethos and a positive, can-do attitude, with the ability to work on your own with low direct supervision. Must be fully conversant in Microsoft software. Experience of having worked with a website content management system would be desirable. Knowledge of print processes and video production would be an advantage. Willingness to work flexibly in response to business needs and requirements. You must comfortable working in a fast-paced environment that requires results, often in tight deadlines
