Job Description

Role: Digital Content Marketing Manager Salary: £45,000 to £55,000 plus good bonus and benefits package Office Location: London or Manchester Work from home: 2 days from office, 3 from home One of the challenges for small businesses looking to go digital is the complexities of all the platforms associated with paid search, display and paid social.Add in the complications of knowing how to target, what are the right keywords, how to implement a bidding strategy, etc.Then knowing how to effectively measure its effectiveness so they dont end up wasting a ton of money.Its not surprising they find it daunting and end up passing it out to agencies.What if there was one platform which combined them and took out the complexitiesOffering a one stop shop which helped them create, execute, optimise and report on campaigns in the one place. Supported by proprietary AI technologies which gave intelligent suggestions each step of the journey.No need to learn the various dashboards and interfaces for Facebook, Google, TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat and others. Its all built into an on rails experience. Taking you through each step of the process in a simple to understand approach. Removing themystery and confusion.The platform includes keyword suggestions and targeting strategies, including geo-location. Copy suggestions and calls to action. It even has a creative toolkit which plugs into a variety of stock image platforms. Able to pull down a shortlist of suggestedcreative, based on each campaigns unique elements which are most likely to connect with the target audience.It will even help you create and integrate campaign landing pages, and feed them into the ecommerce website. All without needing any technical knowledge at all from the person creating it.Powering all this is a back end AI solution baked into the platform. That AI is also a powerful reporting tool, which gives transparency and clarity to businesses on exactly where their media spend is going and the ROI derived from itby campaign and bychannel. Giving complete understanding of whats working and whats not.The platform youll be responsible for removes the complexities of digital advertising and ecommerce for small businesses, essentially giving you a tool which could replace the need for companies to spend a fortune on agencies or need to hire dedicated specialiststo manage their digital marketing needs.About the role Your remit will be to create, develop and manage a platform of content which not only promotes this amazing new platform to prospect customers, but also builds a bank of content for existing customers which promotes new features, hints and tips which helpthem get the best out of the platform too.Content will be key to providing seamless buying journeys for new customers. Giving them insights into the tools within the platform, how they work, just how easy it all is and what the benefits are to their businesses. These will be through various mediatypes, short and long form written as well as video too.In addition, youll be helping to prioritise and work through a content backlog for existing customers which will explain everything they need to get the best out of the platform, as well as help promote new features and capabilities as the platform evolvesand its sophistication continues to grow.Content will be multi-format and multi-channel, and will include things like educational content, e-books, promotional materials and sales collaterals, webinars, videos and even emails.To support this you will also be looking to work with the product team to develop a content platform and library to store and organise a lot of the digitally accessible content for customers and prospects.Youll have the support of an insight team too who youll be helping provide you with key insights around industry and customers to help inform the narrative for your content, so what youre developing is on topic for customers needs and interests.This is an opportunity with a really exciting future.   • Solid digital content marketing backgrounddeveloping, creating and managing multi-channel content roadmaps and strategies
  • Great understanding of SEO in content
  • Ability to take trends and insights, and create content which feeds into it to be timely and engaging with the target audience
  • Decent portfolio of experience in creating video and written content of various types for content marketing purposes
  • Familiarity with digital advertising industry, products or software/tech platforms
  • Good knowledge of Agile working
