Job Description

Deputy Director of Finance | Permanent | Remote WorkingCastlefield Recruitment are currently working in partnership with a Public Sector organisation who are looking to identify a Deputy Directorof Finance to join their established team on a permanent basis. This role can be performed predominantly remotelywith occasional office trips.This is an excellent opportunity for a progressive Finance professional looking to take a step up to their first Deputy Director of Finance post, or for an experienced Deputy Directorlooking to add value to a reputable organisation.Duties;

  • The role will be responsible for leading an experienced corporate accounting team, as well as a customer-focussed, value adding business partnering team
  • Ownership of the medium term financial strategy
  • Building influential relationships with key stakeholders across the organisation, at a strategic level
  • Demonstrate understanding of financial expertise to these senior stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making
  • Supporting the development of effective financial strategies to ensure statutory financial duties are met and the organisation is able to deliver its strategic priorities
The person;
  • Fully Qualified with experience developed across the Public Sector
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to build key relationships at senior level
  • Strong technical accounting skillset
