Data Migration Analyst - Software Company - £35k - ManchesterAn exciting opportunity to join a well-established, award winning and privately owned cloud-based software company, with offices across the UK.You will be working alongside 2 other Data Migration Analyst, so there is plenty of opportunity to support and bounce ideas off one another.Responsibilities of the Data Migration Analyst: Full ETL Process - Extract, Translate and Load data from legacy case management/practice management and legal accounting systems, into Quill’s Interactive Accounts system. To liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ascertain what specific data is required to be transferred, customising where appropriate to the client needs. To collaborate within dynamic R&D, Support and Implementation teams, to facilitate a smooth transition Self-management of working within multiple concurrent projects. Create new and enhance existing translation process to maximise productivity, throughput whilst reducing risk and errors during migration process. Document, review, and confidently communicate project deliverables to stakeholders and internal team members.About you:You must be an enthusiastic and motivated individual, with the proven examples of the following essential skills: Solid background in data migration / conversion role Ability to analyse and grasp database models quickly from varied data sources (such as SQL/Access, VBA, PostgreSQL, Excel, CSV, Text) Experience in SQL databases and SQL query writing Excellent organisational skills to facilitate being able to run multiple streams of workDesirable qualities: ODBC knowledge Experience gained within legal or practice management systems.
