My client is seeking a Business Analyst (User needs and Processes) with a ficus on data. The successful Business Analyst will work alongside other colleagues to support the implementation of the new Data Strategy. Working from the Data Function, a multidisciplinarycore team supported by data experts across the business.This role will work on a wide range of BAU and transformation projects, mainly mapping user journeys around data acquisition and its use, as well as mapping existing offline processes and their relationship to our digital data capture mechanisms across thebusiness. This will help us identify gaps, as well as support defining what good looks like, and actions to improve.TeamThe Data team are responsible for engaging with business users and ensure that data quality requirements are defined, documented and translated into effective and consistent processes that improve the quality of our data. They lead the improvement of our globalbusiness processes, improve the quality of our data and introduce an enterprise taxonomy and ontology consistently across our business and systems, in line with our Data Strategy and our Data Management Framework.Key Responsibilities* Responsible for developing clear, robust and accurate data specific user stories and requirements.* Conduct thorough data business analysis, including challenging perceptions and embedded thinking, to ensure that data requirements can move the business forward and achieve outcomes.* Facilitate workshops and deliver presentations to capture user needs, generate user stories and epics, and generate feedback for both offline and digital services.* Act as an internal consultant to the business when interpreting user requests and where appropriate, making suggestions for better/alternative ways of obtaining and presenting the required information.* Create process maps, wireframes, mock-ups and POCs as part of the requirements process to validate needs and feasibility.Required experience* Have a highly cooperative style and ability to build relationships with stakeholders from a diverse range of disciplines.* Possess proven experience as a data and analytics translator.* Happy to take strategic responsibility for delivery and working in a busy organization transforming itself.* Be able to switch between seeing the business through a strategic lens and a details operational lens.* Understand service design thinking.Paying £63,000 based in Manchester, Leeds, London working onsite 2 days a weekIND_PC1Carbon60, Lorien, SRG - the Impellam Group STEM Portfolio is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
