A market leading Manufacturing and Production business are looking to add a Credit Risk Analyst to their growing finance department in the city of Manchester (West).Reporting into the credit manager, you will be responsible for performing crucial credit duties to ensure the smooth running of the wider credit control function.The responsibilities of this Credit Risk Analyst role will include...* Manage credit held orders and order release with an understanding of credit limit restrictions and communicate held order information to internal stakeholders* Management of credit limits including the review of Credit Reference Agency Reports, Financial Data and Credit Insurance decisions, submitting detailed credit risk assessments and recommendations to internal stakeholders * Manage credit approval inbox, email queries and phone calls from internal stakeholders* Complete new account credit risk assessments and recommendations to internal stakeholders* Complete new account set-up and activation* Manage credit insurance policies including late payment reporting, claims and broker interaction* Complete, action and distribute weekly credit risk reports * Complete monthly credit risk scorecard and analysis * Manage data sharing with external partners such as Credit Reference Agency and Credit Insurance Underwriter * Assist in master data maintenance* Assist in the production of business cases for high level credit decisions * Assist in month-end AR reportingTo be considered for this role you must be...* An excellent communicator who can liaise at all levels * A confident in making credit assessments and recommendations * Able to meet deadlines and deliver work in a fast paced finance environment* Have an understanding and interpretation of financial accounts (balance sheets) preferred* Experienced in credit risk role preferred but not essential as full training and ongoing support will be provided* Must be proficient in MS Excel including Vlookup and pivot-tables * SAP experience preferredTo be considered for this Credit Risk Analyst role or for more information, please get in touch with an up to date CV forwarded to .Robert Walters Operations Limited is an employment business and employment agency and welcomes applications from all candidates
