As a hands-on manager you will lead and mentor a team of Creative Designers and help shape key deliverablesacross a wide variety of channels and business needs. The Creative and Visual Design team helps bring projects to life creatively for PwC with a key focus across client deliverables, proposals and pitch documents, campaign creative identities, thought leadership,social and digital media assets. Youll be supporting the development and implementation of the firms business strategies and in particular to deliver revenue, growth and enhance PwC and our clients brands. You will work alongside an existing Creative Lead team based in our Manchester office and a further Creative Lead in London, with all three roles reporting to the Head of Design based in London. As a multi-skilled manager you will have experience overseeingcreatives, with a keen eye for detail, bringing new insights and knowledge of current trends, whilst challenging your team to produce work to the highest standards. No creative challenge will be too much for you and youll manage Creative Designers to helppush designs into new innovative spaces. As a key part of the team youll be expected to deal with senior stakeholders and pitch ideas, manage clients and projects to the highest standards. You will work as part of a wider Creative and Visual Design team and work in unison with fellow Creative Leads (in Manchester and London) to drive the high creative standards across the team. Sharing knowledge, resources, experience, processes, creative ideasand suggestions to drive collaboration. The Creative and Visual Design team is made up of a core team of 34 people, including Creative Designers, Animation and Video Specialists and Project Managers delivering highly creative design solutions to the UK firm. About the roleResponsibilities include: • You will be responsible for line managing and leading Creative Designers, of various experience levels, ensuring you drive the quality of the creative work produced, challenge ideas and develop your designers to be world class. You will work with projectmanagers, creative services (resourcing your projects) and other team leads. • You will be forward focused, able to inspire designers and work at the highest level of design. Mentoring less experienced designers, coaching and developing their skills and career ambitions. • You will be responsible for consulting with the business alongside other team members, often leading the conversation, to help them articulate best practices on their projects. • As a hands-on manager you will be responsible for producing a variety of creative work and able to bring them to life across PwC branded and client deliverables. From reports, presentations, campaigns identities, event material, brochures, illustrations, interactive projects, social media assets, digital proposals and animations. • You will be taking briefs from clients, understanding their needs, whilst challenging and questioning where appropriate. Able to discuss appropriate options for design and advising clients of best use of graphics whilst adhering to brand guidelines. • You will be required to work using PwC and client branded guidelines and have relevant experience to solve creative problems within an established brand infrastructure. • You will have excellent layout skills, using grids and structure to build documents that are aligned with precision. • You will have excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills in order to develop and maintain strong internal and external relationships with key clients and contacts from all levels of PwC. • You will have the opportunity to work across all lines of service and industries in the UK, as well as to collaborate with a range of PwC people, developing relationships and making yourself a valued member of PwC. • You will have excellent attention to detail to proof your teams work and set a high standard with your own work. Ensuring we uphold brand and industry standards across all formats of work. • Take ownership of client enquiries, proactively solving client issues and resolving or escalating as appropriate. • Proven experience of exact reporting to improve and evaluate the operations of the design team. Requirements• Minimum 10 years of design experience with 5 years of experience leading a studio or similar design team. • Outstanding conceptual and graphic design skills and an ability to demonstrate and apply a sound knowledge of the firms corporate identity. You will also need to see projects through and have your own design projects. • Proven ability and experience of leading high volume design teams and influencing behaviour to deliver positive outcomes. • You will be skilled in the complete Adobe Creative Suite. An expert in InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop. Have experience in Figma, After Effects, Premier Pro and XD. Deep working experience of PowerPoint, Microsoft Word and Google Suite (Slides, Sites andDocs). • Drive improvements in the teams creative processes and capabilities. With a strong attitude to teamwork and professional development. • The role will suit someone who is calm under pressure, highly organised and methodical and able to make informed decisions rapidly and accurately. • Proven experience of integrated business campaigns is essential as your work will cover digital, video, print and event design delivering brand / marketing collateral across B2B audiences. • Youll have excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workload and handle several tasks at once within given deadlines and suggesting possible solutions. • You have a portfolio that displays an excellent track record of inventive and compellingcreative work across print and digital mediums. • Youll have excellent influencing and communication skills to be able to challenge internal clients to deliver best practice. • Youll be expected to use our internal training systems to continuously up-skill yourself and your team and develop your understanding of the firms strategy to meet its future needs. • You can demonstrate the ability to build relation
