Are you a graduate looking for immediate flexible work in east Manchester Are you considering a career in teaching and looking to gain practical classroom experienceI am currently recruiting for energetic and confident graduates for temporary flexible roles in secondary schools in east ManchesterThe RoleCover supervisors for flexible day to day bookings and ongoing full-time supply roles.The role will include:

• Taking the lead in the absence of the teacher
• Sole responsibility for teaching and learning
• Delivering pre-planned lessons
• Using provided resources to encourage learning
• Managing the behaviour within the classroom
• Developing independent study skills and peer learning
• Pastoral and learning support
• Managing handover back to the teacher
• A background or degree in science, English, TEFL, or sports would be beneficial

• Working in schools or colleges
• Sports coaching

• Drama Workshop / drama school/ theatre in education

• Teaching children or leading childrens clubs in community groups or places of worship

• Scouts/Guides/Brownies/Cubs
• Outdoor activities instructor / Duke of Edinburgh/ orienteering with young people

To join us and be successful in this graduate cover supervisor role, you will need to:

• a minimum of six weeks experience in the last 3 years of working with groups of children or teenagers

• This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
• Provide a CV with 10 years of employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained
• Have the legal right to work in the UK
• Bachelors degree or similar equivalent qualification
• Able to travel to schools in Gorton , Openshaw, Levenshulme, Beswick by 8.15am with 30 minutes notice
