Job Description

Administration AssistantCourt of Protection team Greater ManchesterA well-known, reputable firm of solicitors are currently looking for an experienced legal administrator to join their Court of Protection team to provide support for the department. Requirements:

  • Previous experience as an administration assistant within legal
  • Proficient IT skills, including typing and Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Outlook, Excel).
  • Strong organisational skills, self-management, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
This role will involve supporting the team members with caseload management. This will include opening new case files in paper and electronic formats, organising and saving various materials in case files, archiving and the transferring of tasks between files.The successful candidate will deal with the post and manage payment processes, including invoices, disbursement transfers, and raising invoices and conduct bank reconciliations.Other duties will involve updating systems, diary management and performing billing tasks as well as any general administration duties as needed in the COP team Salary is dependent upon experience.
  • 25 days holiday per annum, plus bank holidays, plus loyalty holiday scheme and ability to buy holidays.
