Bruin are currently recruiting for an In House Corporate Tax Specialist to join our clients team based in Manchester.As a result of continued growth, the business requires a Tax Manager to join our high performing finance team. The ideal candidate will be a well rounded Corporate Tax professional, possibly looking for their first move into Industry.Reporting directly to the Senior Financial Reporting Manager, the role will be hands on with a clear focus on tax compliance, reporting and tax risk issues affecting the business. In addition, the role will require a commercial mind set, to support the varioustax activities and tax planning strategies for the Group.You will be responsible for all aspects of tax compliance, payroll, VAT and tax reporting together with documenting the Groups tax processes and ensuring these are applied accurately and consistently. You will be able to demonstrate where you have translatedtechnical issues and clearly articulated the outcome. In addition, you will be able to hit the ground running, work proactively with other departments and manage a qualified accountant to ensure all deadlines are met.Required Skills: Qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA) with at least 2 years PQE Experience within accounting practice or a similar varied in-house tax position Excellent working knowledge of UK tax legislation, VAT and Tax reporting Experience of working with HMRC (approved and unapproved share schemes preferable) Experience of drafting policies and procedures Staff management experience Good working knowledge of IFRS and FRS101 Preparation of corporation tax computations and returns Preparing annual PAYE and other employee-related returns for HMRC (P35, P11d) Tax/NI calculationsThe role offers an incredible starting salary, bonus, flexible working, 12% non contributory pension, enhanced maternity/paternity and much more.If you are looking for a change of role and want to work for a multi-award winning FTSE 250 company, please submit your CV
