-Temporary assignment-Par rate £17.11 p/h-Located in City centre-Shifts - rotating/ including weekends but no nights.-Description of the role:* Control room background/skills - from any kind of control room e.g. utility type company, emergency control rooms etc.* Ideally would like candidates with SIA - Security Industry Accreditation - SIA specifically for CCTV, monitoring, capturing people - this is due to them being able to understand the legal framework for CCTV (Ideally we dont want door supervision SIA accreditation/bouncerswith SIA as its the wrong skills set for this role).* They will be required to pass a DBS test but can work under supervision whilst the DBS results are awaited. They must pass a DBS check as they will be working in a multiagency control room with a police presence and can hear sensitive/confidential information.All the staff in the control room are DBS checked.* It would be great to have someone with some knowledge of a CCTV systems (as the ideal candidate will need to be able to get up running).* Quite a Fluid environment in Control Room, not a lot of structure in the sense of teams and shared capacity etc so need someone who knows what theyre doing as a CCO/CCSO.What we really need in order to get these people in asap, are a combination of things, including the below:* Control Room experience - This can be in any kind of busy multi agency control room, so any emergency service, any transport related control room or utility type control room. That should mean they have some experience of call handling/incident management/networkmonitoring/team working.* CCTV - experience and use of CCTV systems ( doesnt matter which type - we will train them on ours) which means they should know how to use CCTV i.e. what it can and cant be used for/be familiar with the legal framework around using CCTV i.e. GDPR/InformationGovernance/processing CCTV downloads.* Ideally, some network knowledge of the GM transport/Highways network.You will need:
