Watch this about DCC video and if it ignites yourinterest, apply below.The RoleThe Contract Manager is responsible for managing a number of supplier contracts supplier and will;

• Ensure that contractual governance routines are undertaken in accordance with the supplier contract
• Oversee the scheduling and delivery of all Change Requests and Project Requests relating to their contracts
• Ensure compliance with the DCC licence to minimise disallowed expenditure through price control
• Provide subject matter expertise on the service provider and the detail of the contracts we have with them
• Own and manage the end-to-end Contract Management process

What youll be doing

• Manage the full contract lifecycle for up to 3
• Manage Commercial contribution to all Change Requests and Project Requests
• Manage Contract negotiations / renewals
• Manage Contract disputes / issues
• Monitor, review and implement contract penalties & levers
• Develop and manage deep knowledge of commercial contracts and ensure it is up to date, documented and managed in line with DCC Knowledge Management standards
• Maintain comprehensive audit trails and justifications for price control
• Ensuring quality and value for money is maximised from supplier contracts through the delivery of opportunities for cost savings and cost avoidance.
• Stakeholder engagement both internally and externally.

What were looking for

• Good knowledge and experience of working in a complex Commercial environment within Risk Management, Obligations Management, Contract Governance and/or Dispute Management
• Contract Lifecycle Management (mobilisation, in-life change and exit)
• Experienced Contract Manager, managing large, complex, enduring contracts
• Strong, senior level internal & external stakeholder management
• Good, proven influencing skills
• Strong commercial knowledge
• Real eye for detail
• Proven, creative problem-solving skills
• Experience of working in a multi project, multi-workstream matrix environment

Preferred:

• Knowledge of Contract Law
• Experience working in the utilities, telecoms or outsourcing industry.
• Experience working in a regulated environment
• Professional qualification e.g. CIPS, ACCA, Legal
