Job Description

Cordant People are currently representing an Multinational software company who, due to continuous growth, are looking to add to their Manchester marketing with a heavy experienced content writer. The right person will with solid B2B marketing experience as well as indepth technology industry experience. This is an amazing chance to join a global marketing team within a growing industry.THE ROLE:

  • Assist with overall content strategy and planning: identifying trends and prospective topics and using that for content ideation
  • Taking and delivering briefs: from across different areas of the business
  • eBook, guide and whitepaper production: research, plan, and deliver
  • Blog development: research, produce, proof and optimize for SEO
  • Campaign support: aiding in the development of emails, landing pages and other campaign materials
  • Web content: play an active role in managing website content, including production, quality control, reviewing and updating
  • Proof reading and editing: of other peoples content
  • Delivery of other ad hoc content as required: including infographics, video, social media, award submissions, contributions to external publications, presentations, news stories and customer and product marketing
  • Stakeholder management: work with internal and external stakeholders to deliver quality assets
    • THE REQUIREMENTS:
  • Miniumum 5 years experience in a content writing role
  • B2B marketing and copywriting experience essential
  • Experience working in the Software industry is a must
  • Ability to write a variety of content, particularly long-form (1500 word +), in-depth pieces
  • Understanding of writing for SEO
    • THE BENEFITS:
  • Up to £50k annual salary
  • Flex working hours (core hours 10am - 3pm)
