This is a multi-disciplinary team with over 60 specialists in water science, geomorphology, hydrology, aquatic-ecology, and hydrogeology. We work for clientsfrom across the public and private sectors, including local councils, national highways agencies, UK environment agencies, power/utility/water companies, Homes England, Network Rail, River Trusts as well as private developers and overseas clients. We are involvedin major infrastructure projects, but equally recognize the importance of providing specialist water science services to smaller niche projects and developments.The Water Scientist role will involve working alongside senior staff to assist them with the delivery of a wide range of water science projects across the UK, particularly for large infrastructure developments. Tasks will include carrying out baseline deskstudies, field work (such as water quality or flow monitoring and sediment quality investigations), data processing and analysis, impact assessments and WFD appraisals, reporting and the presentation of data.
