Communications Assistant Manager - 9 Months FTCManchester up to £40k DOEThis role is full time on a fixed term basis until September 2023. Salary shown will be pro rata.My client, a leading accounting firm globally, have an exciting opportunity for a Communications Assistant Manager to take ownership for the PR and internal communications for the firms regional business in the North West, Yorkshire and North East of England.You will be responsible for working closely with Key Stakeholders, local sector leads and the wider comms team to build the brands voice in the North on the issues that matter to organisations large and small across regional economies. This will involveboth generating your own press materials, being adept at responding to journalist queries and localising materials produced by other PRs in the team to use in your region.This role would most suit a proactive individual, who thrives on developing and delivering local media campaigns, targeted at regional titles. You will be happy to travel across the region to meet senior partners, journalists and develop relationships. Youwill also have solid experience of internal communication and driving employee engagement and brand advocacy.Key responsibilities:
