Job Description

This role involves managing a portfolio of commodities for a leading company in the Industrial/Manufacturing sector.   • Manage a portfolio of commodities, ensuring supply continuity and cost-effectiveness
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers, securing the best terms and conditions
  • Implement procurement strategies and plans
  • Maintain relationships with suppliers, managing performance and resolving issues
  • Work with internal stakeholders to identify procurement needs and opportunities
  • Monitor market trends and developments in the Industrial/Manufacturing sector
  • Contribute to the development of the companys supply chain strategy
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
ProfileA successful Commodity Manager should have:
  • Experience in commodity management and procurement, ideally within the Industrial/Manufacturing sector
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills
  • Strong analytical abilities and strategic thinking
  • Knowledge of supply chain management principles and best practices
  • Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively at all levels
