Were inclusive, as we believe in fashion without boundaries; and were sustainable, striving to make as little impact on the planet as possible.Role - Commercial Finance Manager DT and TransformationAs Commercial Finance Manager you are a key Business Partner to the division with responsibility for all aspects of financial management including the opex and capex planning process, investment planning and performance, KPI and financial performance reporting,improving operational performance, cash management and the financial control environment. The Commercial Finance Manager will play a key role in maintaining their divisional P&L, partnering with their Senior Leader Team as we continue to grow our brands andaccelerate our transformation.You will have strong Commercial drive and acumen, and a customer-first attitude, with proven experience in a digitally led eCommerce environment. Championing the customer, you will develop and equip your team with the capabilities and skills to drive commercial,data driven results backed by your experience and instinct.Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance, this role is fundamental to delivering their commercial objectives to accelerate growth and increase in market share.Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  • Lead Capex/Opex allocation, maintenance, budget, and planning processes, including payroll, expenses, and any other associated costs lines.
  • Govern third-party costs, planning and review processes, and any other associated costs lines.
  • Review detailed, managements accounts; provide in-depth analytical review, specifically comparing performance versus prior period & budget, with narrative and explanations of trends.
  • Provide hands on support for the balance sheet control process, including regular detailed review of balance sheets with significant focus on material balances to identify balance sheet risks.
  • Preparation of reporting for inclusion within the board pack and other ceremonies relating to their divisions.
  • Business Partnering with the Executive and Senior Leadership Team, attending and contributing to relevant ceremonies, to challenge and discuss results and provide support for any queries and impediments.
  • Support and guide their team, peers and stakeholders through the budgeting and forecast process, liaising closely with the wider Commercial Finance team.
  • Develop stakeholder relationships across their division and wider enterprise.
  • Significant involvement in the year-end process, preparation of deliverables for the audit and key contact for the auditors for their division during the audit process.
  • Support the development of a robust control environment by continuously identifying opportunities to improve financial systems and processes and by implementing these changes.
What skills and experience will you have
  • Qualified accountant with more than 2-years experience working in the retail sector, experienced in multiple areas of financial management. - Being close to the detail, data driven and analytical whilst also being able to articulate results clearly tonon-finance individuals
  • Strong operational delivery track record, motivated to implement/deliver on time to quality standards and build new efficient processes
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly appraise complex situations, identify key issues and make tough, timely decisions
  • Excellent interpersonal relationships and ability to manage complex stakeholder relationship.
  • Ability to influence and negotiate at all levels of the organisation and experienced in communicating commercial language with a variety of media
