Co-Head - Change and Governance - Change Lead ManchesterAs a Barclays Co-Head - Change and Governance - Change Lead, you will be working within Lending Operations that provides trusted, high quality and resilient transaction processing at Group wide level. This area provides all operational support for Lending,Post-Sanction Fulfilment and Collateral Management. Alongside the core teams, you will have support functions; Risk Control, Business Management, Optimisation and Transformation. What will you be doing• Delivering productivity increases through the continuous improvement and technical development of all areas of the team • Working autonomously to drive and deliver exceptional business performance through solid leadership and performance analysis of the business areas • Identifying and implementing areas for cost and service improvement using own initiative • Acting as a point of contact for in depth specialist support or guidance • Operating as a primary contact for Risk Events, Change initiatives and management issues; including system and procedural issues • Providing in depth specialist support for product/work stream What were looking for:• Proven experience in a similar role • Ability to prioritise highest risks against time/cost issues. • Excellent team leadership skills • Experience dealing with senior stakeholders with excellent relationship management skills Skills that will help you in the role• Proven experience in process improvements, utilising methodologies such as Lean Management, Six Sigma, Agile, and the like • Significant experience in financial or accountancy environment, including complex problem resolution working under own initiative Where will you be workingBased in our Manchester office, which is in the heart of the city centre.
