Job Description

A growing Openshaw-based business is looking for CNC Machinist with milling experience and the ability to edit/modify programs using Heidenhain controls. Along with a salary of up to £35,000 per annum, you will also receive 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays,a company pension scheme, and a monthly bonus scheme.As CNC Machinist, your responsibilities will include:

  • Setting and operating 3 or 4 Axis Vertical machining centres.
  • Working from detailed engineering drawings.
  • Modifying/editing programs.
We’re looking for a CNC Machinist with:
  • Extensive experience working with large one-off`s or small batch.
  • Good communication, organisational skills alongside attention to detail.
  • Positive attitude to following all health and safety guidelines.
  • Previous experience of shift working days and nights.
  • Previous experience using overhead cranes and lifting equipment.
This is a permanent position working on a 2-shift pattern Monday to Thursday: -
  • (week 1 days/week 2 nights) and no weekend working, averaging a 37-hour working week.
