Job Description

Claims Manager

  • Manchester City Centre Based
  • Monday - Friday 9-5.30pm
  • Salary up to £60k DOE
  • Reporting to Head of Operations
About the roleYou will play a pivotal role in managing large and complex claims efficiently and accurately. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the referral of claims falling within specific criteria, monitoring referred claims closely, and ensuring timely reportingto interested parties and management.You will collaborate closely with the actuarial team to provide necessary details for claim-specific IBNRs and analyse claims performance against expectations.Additionally, you will conduct claims due diligence reviews, resolve claims audit findings, and assist with claim-related complaints.The role requires building and maintaining relationships with external parties, overseeing the entire claims books performance, assessing claims resource requirements, and ensuring compliance with claims governance processes.Requirements
  • 5+ years Technical Insurance Claims experience
  • A passionate, enthusiastic and organised Leader capable of managing high levels of activity across the various departments.
  • Able to quickly assimilate information and report in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders.
