Looking for a full time vibrant creative chef, cook and kitchen staff to join our ever growing team!We are looking for someone to join our current team in salford, and also our BRAND NEW KITCHEN IN STOCKPORT TO START STRAIGHT AWAY!Gainz Manchester ltd.Passionate about food Hard workingExperiencedReliable Sound like you then we want to hear from you!As a chef, you will provide freshly cooked, nutritious and appetising meals and snacks for all our clientele. Whilst ensuring good food hygiene is maintained at all times. Whilst working together as a team to create a happy and caring atmosphere.Whether your making delicious health boxes made to order or carrying out makro based prep meals for 100s of customers. To doing a deep clean of the kitchen you will do so with comfort care and companionship at the heart of everything you do!!Schedule:•12 hour shift•Monday to Friday•WeekendsCOVID-19 considerations:All of our staff are required to wear face masks during work, and adhere to strict cleaning schedules.Experience:•Chef: 1 year (Preferred) Job Duties:

  • Cleans food preparation areas as determined by law and company policy
  • Prepares foods to the specifications of the client
  • Prepares food before the arrival of guests
  • Makes adjustments to food items to accommodate guests with allergies or specific diet concerns
  • Manages other employees in the kitchen
  • Acts as liaison to front-of-house employees to ensure proper food service temperature
  • Seasons food according to recipes or company needs
  • Orders ingredients and spices as needed
  • Operates various kitchen appliance such as a blender, oven, grill, or stand mixer
  • Portions, arranges, and garnishes food based on client preference
  • Assists other cooks during the food assembly process
  • Devises new recipes
  • Estimates expected food consumption and organises preparation
  • Keeps records and accounts of food purchases
  • Orders new menu items for specials or cheap deals
  • Meets with customers to ensure a great meal experience
  • Prepares any necessary sauces or accompaniments before meal service begins
  • Stays open until the last customer leaves
  • Offers a creative menu to compete with other local restaurants
  • Cleans up after business hours
  • Communicates with owner about how to improve meal service
  • Alters dishes based on consumer suggestions or requirements
