Job Description

We work with our customers to provide them with the safest, most cost-efficient and effective services enabling them to benefit from economies of scale and optimised national resources.Our Shared Service Centre is at the heart of this, bringing the administration of finances and human resources across Network Rail together. We oversee recruitment and job vacancies, process payments, bill & collect income, pay wages, manage employee personal data and undertake health checks for our people every day.The recruitment team within this works closely with customers across two routes managing the internal and external recruitment process from attraction and selection. This is a close-knit team who work on high volume recruitment within a fast-paced environment. The team liaises with stakeholders, HR and Recruitment Administrators to constantly improve the customer journey and keep to their targeted deadlines.As the Campaign Advisor, you will be responsible for providing innovative and effective end to end recruitment solutions and sourcing strategies for national recruitment campaigns. This is an exciting role that will rely on strong stakeholder and networking skills along with outside of the box’ thinking to ensure campaigns are delivered on time.Being agile and flexible is key for this role as travel may be required depending on the campaign requirements.Key Accountabilities1.Manage the end to end recruitment process, providing effective recruitment solutions and identifying opportunities for improvement via collaboration with internal stakeholders2.Provide pro-active and specialist advice on relevant recruitment and selection activities including advertising, interview scheduling and management of offers3.Prioritise workload effectively, maintaining constant and open communications with your dedicated Recruitment Administrators to optimise delivery4.Develop an understanding and awareness of your client groups, implementing sourcing strategies to meet campaign requirements5.Develop and maintain on-going positive relationships with candidates, providing a great candidate experience regardless of the outcome6.Work with stakeholders and HR to clarify and define resource requirements and advise on appropriate resourcing solutions7.Promote consistency and fairness in the recruitment & selection process by providing guidance to managers on structured interviewing techniques, criteria and capability based selection and general support, throughout the entire recruitment project life cycle to offer and acceptance stage8.Develop and sustain effective working relationships with both internal and external customers & suppliersEssential•Recent recruitment experience•Effective stakeholder management skills•Experience of working as part of a team in a client-focused environment to meet challenging deadlines in a volume-oriented resourcing/recruiting environment•Intermediate organisational/process management skills, to include process improvement•Good MS Office skills including Excel•Strong analytical skills including development of reporting and presentation•Excellent communication skills at all levels•Previous experience in database and administrative process managementDesirable•Basic knowledge of relevant employment law and the employment market place.Network Rail welcomes applications regardless of age, disability, marital status (including civil partnerships), pregnancy or maternity, race, religion or belief, sexual orientation, transgender status, sex (or gender), employment status, trade union affiliation, or other irrelevant factor.
