Job Description

Zachary Daniels is excited to be working with a Manchester Fashion brand who after almost a decade of trading continue to experience huge growth. Our client are now looking to expand their Buying team so that they can take their national & internationalpresence one step further.This brand are fashion forward and put their customer at the forefront of everything that they do. So if you love following trends, influencer and celeb styles and want to support the Buying division with their ranges then lets chat! Key Responsibilities include:

  • Experience at Buyer Administrator level or experience with a placement year whilst completing University or College studies
  • Confident numerically with analysing data
  • Maintain the departments critical path by liaising with the supply base daily on new and repeat orders
  • Report back to your Buyer on the status of the critical path each week, yet confident to present issues or potential delays to your Buyer daily, if necessary to protect the departments trading success
  • You will present solutions to your Buyer if you find or untangle issues with product on order from all perspectives of; cost prices, RRPs, technical implications, shipping delays or cancellations
  • Build trade notes each Monday by reviewing best and worst sellers for the week using the reporting sent around by your merchandising team
  • Contribute to range development through comp shops and trend analysis by reviewing social media, highstreet brands, catwalk inspiration and always staying on top of the competition
  • Manage lab dips, colour cards, fabric trims and general approvals by keeping them filed and in order for easy reference
  • Manage all new samples into the business through daily postal deliveries
  • Maintain a clear and organised working rail for you and your buyer to work from for upcoming meetings, sign offs or fit sessions
  • Attend weekly fit sessions with your garment tech and buyer and support with any comments and supplier communication that is required
