Job Description

Business Development Manager / Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer required to join a global Air Movement manufacturer working on Air distribution and ventilation .Business Development Manager / Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer shall be responsible for new business development and account management within industrial air distribution division across the Manchester.Business Development Manager / Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer will have sales experience as a BDM, selling air distribution heating and cooling products, filters, ventilators and dampers. Package£55,000-£65,000Commission (15%-20% of salary)Car Allowance 25 days holidays + bank holidays – Growing with time.Private health care Additional company benefitsBusiness Development Manager / Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer Role

  • Manage the UK territory including regular reporting on territory plan, progress to plan, sales forecast, sales and marketing and sales pursuits both direct and through channel partners/ distribution.
  • Manage and grow existing relationships as well as business development. A mix of new business development and current account management.Selling air distribution heating and cooling products, filters, and dampers and more.
  • Monitor business trends, competitor data and gather market intelligence relating to the UK Air Distribution or Ventilation
  • Maintaining new sales with demonstration, exhibition and negotiation in order to achieve targets.
  • Working closely with the Service Department to ensure an excellent standard of after-sales service is provided.
  • Liaise with various engineering departments.
Business Development Manager / Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer Requirements
  • Experience as a Business Development Manager, Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Key
  • Account Manager or similar within mechanical engineering.
  • Knowledge and experience working on RIBA stages.
  • Determination, enthusiasm, and motivation to succeed and grow with a reputable company.
  • Background in developing new business opportunities UK wide, ideally within Air Distribution, Filtration or Ventilation.
  • Ability to develop, grow and nurture a wide network of contacts within professional consultancies and HVAC contractors
  • Ability to interpret mechanical specification documents, schedules, and associated drawings/schematics to determine component type/sizing/quantities, etc. for estimating and quoting purposes.
  • Deliver presentations to HVAC related topics and enquiries.
  • Experienced air distribution heating and cooling products, filters, and dampers and more.
  • A technical engineering degree is advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel, you will be home based covering Manchester occasional work off patch when needed.
