Job Description

  • Business Analyst
  • Outside IR35
  • £460 per day (outside IR35)
  • Manchester - Hybrid working with occasional travel to the office a few times every month
Our Manchester based client is currently on the lookout for an experienced Business Analyst to help on a informatics project. You will be required tocome and look at what has already been delivered, what is in progress, what else is wanted by the organisationand how that aligns to what the IT teams are planning to deliver. Youwill also be asked to help out in the agile delivery of some of the ongoing work.The Informatics project is replacing our current Business Information / MI platform with a Microsoft-based one, centred around Power BI and utilising Azure technologies for the data storage and manipulation.Key skills:
  • Strong Business Analyst, able to communicate with a wide variety of business and technical stakeholders alike.
  • Technically minded, ideally with a data and reporting focus
  • Any relevant experience of Power BI, Azure, Synapse a benefit
  • Experience of working within an Agile development methodology
  • Experience around the design and build of ETLs Data Warehouses
  • Might lend itself to a Business Analyst coming from an earlier career as a data engineer or architect
