Job Description

Our leading medical research client is looking for Biomedical scientist to immerse themselves into a large well-known institution and become part of a team collaborative team.Ideal skills required

  • HCPC Registered with 2 years’ experience working in a pathology laboratory
  • Previous experience working with Pathology LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) data entry preferable. Previous experience of Telepath or similar desirable
  • Prior experience of working in a biology/microbiology/virology lab (highly desirable)
  • May interchange with routine lab team dependent on experience and to ensure skill mix
  • Good lab technical skills such as pipetting, sample processing etc.
  • Experience of running PCR.
  • Good technical skills/familiar with clean-room concepts, experience of working with lab-based equipment such as pipettes, centrifuges, molecular diagnostic equipment
  • Previous experience in high throughput environment is desirable
