Job Description

Location - Flexible, to be based out of any of our UK offices.We are looking to attract Barristers / Solicitor Advocates with Higher Rights to join our DWF Advocacy business.DWF Advocacy is an expert, quality, streamlined advocacy service, operating as an alternative to the external Bar and traditional chambers. Operating similar to an in-house set of chambers, DWF’s barristers and advocates offer specialist advocacy, drafting and advisory services across a variety of specialisms such as Commercial, Fraud, Occupational Health & Disease, Catastrophic Injury, Professional Indemnity, Employment, Costs and Inquests. The team comprises circa 20 individuals based across a number of our UK DWF offices including Birmingham, Manchester, London and Leeds. Work typically arises as a result of referrals from legal colleagues but also direct client relationships.In particular, our PI/Clin Neg/Occ Health law advocates represent clients at all levels on a wide range of matters. Our advocates sit alongside specialist solicitors, providing a seamless client experience.Forming part of a well established team, this career opportunity offers you the chance to work alongside market leading partners to deliver cost-efficient, proportionate and high quality advocacy services to DWF, other solicitors practices and clients across multiple geographical locations.We are keen to attract applicants with 3+ years PQE (desirable) and previous experience in PI/Clin Neg/Occupational Health work. Applicants with experience also in Inquest work are particularly sought. You will be expected to have the commercial awareness, confidence and ability to seek out, secure and retain new clients from within the business and beyond.
