Job Description

Azure DevOps Data Engineer, £60-65k + car or car allowance, home working UK basedWe are looking for an Azure DevOps engineer who will be working from home 80% of the time with somc occasional travel to a local office (several around the UK)So as the Azure DevOps Data Engineer what will you be doing Working within the DevOps team as a Data Engineer utilising your expertise within Microsofts SQL Azure / Data Factory / PowerBi / PowerApps platforms to play a pivotal part in architecting, developing, managing and supporting the clients Enterprise Data Warehouse.You will be working in an Agile team alongside data architects and development teams, taking advantage of the latest tools and automation processes to ensure a smooth and accurate flow of data through the Azure DataWarehouse platform.So as the Azure Data Engineer what will you need to have

  • A strong background in Data Engineering and Architecture.
  • A strong understanding of Microsoft SQL Server, Azure, PowerApps and Power BI.
  • Familiality of the Azure DevOps toolset
  • A proven track record of implementing end-to-end data solutions and ELT/ETL pipeline development skills.
  • Maintaining and optimizing the Data Warehouse and Data Lake / Data Brick solutions to maximize performance.
  • Experience working with solutions in the Cloud specifically Microsofts Azure platform.
  • Strong SQL experience both within th SQL Azure space and on prem.
  • Good documentation experience.
  • The ability to communicate well with key stakeholders and non-technical audiences.
    • Desirable experience required for the role includes:
  • Experience in leading data engineering projects.
  • Experience working with large-scale data environments in a data engineering role.
  • Microsoft Azure related Certifications.
  • Experience working in the Construction/Infrastructure space.
  • Create apps and implement dashboards within the PowerApp and Power BI space
  • Experience with AWS.
