AWS Infrastructure EngineerManchester (currently fully remote)£41,670 - £46,901 plus £4,900 market supplementCloud, AWS, Terraform - In a nutshell, thats what my client is looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to possess knowledge in. The market has been tricky over the last 9+ months, but one thing that hasnt changed is that cloud expertise is hard to find and attract, so why should you apply for this role against one of the many others being advertised Well, besides the salary, market supplement and benefits package listed below, there are many other reasons; for example, my client is committed to the development and training of their team, when they get good people, they want to keep them and enable them to be even better; turn good into great with excellent opportunities to develop and improve. Theyre working on some genuinely interesting things and this role will feed into a leader who is passionate about the direction they are heading. What they needMy client has this position to fill and they wont compromise on the quality they bring into the team; theyre building a high performing team and want to hire the right person to add to that team, someone who possesses experience and knowledge of AWS (any MS Azure would be very attractive), Terraform and Python (if youve exposure to PowerShell, that wouldnt hurt either). You will be judged against the following 4 key criteria (this gives an idea of whats important to them):- Infrastructure designs reflect current best practice and are implemented to a high technical standard- Infrastructure solutions are secure, cost effective and meet changing operational performance targets and SLAs for performance, capacity and availability, throughout their lifecycle- Operational issues are effectively managed and business disruption is minimised- An Infrastructure Services Practice & Community of Interest, that implements innovation and best practiceThere is so much more I can tell you about this client, what theyre doing, how theyre evolving and why you should be interested - to find this out, submit your CV for immediate consideration.Certes Computing (and all of its subsidiary companies) is committed to promoting equality and diversity in its business operations.
