We are currently looking for a Automation Engineer to join a global Life Sciences company based in the Manchester area. As the Automation Engineer you will take a hands on lead role in business process intelligent automation projects which will involveworking closely with internal and external stakeholders on a broad range of topics including RPA, IDP, BPM, Low Code APP Development to Process / Task Mining, Chat Bots, AI and ML. You will play a key role in building global platforms that will enable digitalinitiatives at scale. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Your duties as the Automation Engineer will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:1. Overall responsibility for developing and maintaining the Intelligent Automation platform eco-system. 2. Establishing robust governance frameworks and best practices to standardise and control solution development, deployment and maintenance. 3. Hands-on software development with a strong focus on business analysis and digital transformation. 4. Lead automation topic related business workshops in gathering requirements and helping business users. ROLE REQUIREMENTS:To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Automation Engineer we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:1. Proven track record and practical experience driving and managing digital transformation initiatives and programs. 2. Have a solid understanding of the intelligent automation tools and technologies (e.g. RPA, IDP, Process / Task Mining, Low Code App Development, Chat Bots, AI, ML). 3. Provide expertise to stakeholders and drive business understanding and interest for discovering and delivering opportunities for Intelligent Automation across the company.
