As a Barclays Automation Engineer you will work within a dedicated team of engineers to help build out, maintain and expand a new Digital framework to service our Corporate clients across web, mobile, tablet and other devices. You will be working on ourhighest priority piece of work as Barclays looks to overhaul its Corporate channels to align with our technology strategy related to micro-services, APIs and automation in order to improve velocity and stability of our core platforms. What will you be doing Executing the functional testing plan as defined by the Test Lead/Lead Test Engineer with minimal supervision You will understand and manage the functional aspect of the project, conducting review of functionality being tested and confirming test coverage Delivering and signing off the Test Strategy, Test Plan, Approach and TCM and ensure the periodical updates are provided such as DSR, WSR, KPI Working closely with the test automation lead to deliver robust test harnesses to meet complex testing needs of various projects You will be responsible for creating and maintaining automated GUI and backend test cases You will plan and execute the automated packs and provide consolidated feedback to the lead on a regular basis What were looking for: Extensive experience in Functional Testing with Automation in Java/Selenium. Including Mobile testing for IOS and Android Knowledge in API testing and Automation including domain knowledge Banking and Payments Extensive knowledge of Testing lifecycle and core testing process/techniques using different test approaches. Including understanding of Defect management processes Good Knowledge in Java and Selenium, SQL and ETL Skills Skills that will help you in the role: Understanding to Swift MT messages and ISO 20022 formats like Pain, Pacs and Camt messages Knowledge in Mobile Automation using Appium. Understanding of CI / CD and DevOps methodologies Exposure to Payments Engine like GPP and Masspay, including Payments landscape and all middleware applications Exposure to Service Virtualisation using tools like GHT, CA Lisa and custom Java framework Where will you be workingIn the centre of Spinningfields, Hardman Street is right in the centre of the best of Manchesters professional business network.
