Job Description

This role is for an Auditor within the Accounting and Finance Department of a professional services firm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the execution of audit assignments, ensuring the delivery of audit work to the firms high standards.Client DetailsOur client is a reputable professional services firm employing over a thousand individuals across the UK. The firm specialises in providing accounting, audit, tax, and consulting services to a wide range of sectors.Description

  • Performing audit assignments in accordance with the firms methodologies and standards.
  • Preparing financial statements in compliance with relevant accounting standards.
  • Identifying and communicating accounting and auditing matters to managers and partners.
  • Building professional relationships with clients to gain their trust and respect.
  • Contributing to team discussions and assisting in resolving issues raised.
  • Continually updating understanding of business and economic issues.
  • Maintaining confidentiality of the firms information and procedures.
  • Adhering to the firms policies and procedures, including ethical requirements.
ProfileA successful Auditor should have:
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
  • Professional certification (ACA, ACCA or similar).Nearly Qualified and Qualified
  • Strong understanding of accounting and financial principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good knowledge of auditing standards and procedures.
  • Ability to work in a team and manage multiple tasks.
  • Willingness to travel as required by the job.
Job Offer
  • An estimated salary range of £22000 - £40000 per annum. DOE
  • A standard working week of 37.25 hours.
  • Generous annual leave of 25 days.
