YOUR IMPACT Are you passionate about using data to challenge the norm We are looking for a strong data engineer to join our Core Data Analytics team where they will work closely with the audit teams to build tools and platforms that make it easier for the division toperform analytics and gain insight into the firms control environment. HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

• Work with audit teams and fellow Data analysts to design self-service data products that enable auditors to more efficiently and effectively work with firm data and identify potential risk
• Gather requirements that help develop web services and web applications to make analytics solutions more accessible
• Identify, design and implement data pipelines with greater scalability, optimizing data delivery, and automating manual processes
• Build required infrastructure for optimal extraction, transformation and loading of data from various data source
• Develop efficient software programs for multiple use cases leveraging Python and Data engineering technologies for various audit requirements
• Support innovation and design of new tools for the department by understanding the audit lifecycle process
• Develop strategic solutions to aggregate, analyze and visualize data using a variety of technologies
• Lead and mentor data engineering team to reach business goals effectively
• Ensure compliance with enterprise data management policy such as data quality, security and governance of the entire data platform
• Help the division understand the tools, approaches and infrastructure available to them
• Assess data quality to understand potential of data sources, limitations or issues

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS: BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Relevant years experience working in the Data Analytics field with preference for experience in Financial Services
• Hands-on experience with SQL programming and familiar with various databases like SQL Server, Oracle, Postgres, Vertica etc.
• Demonstrated experience in implementing data strategies and developing physical data models
• Experience in modern data platform components such as Alteryx, Airflow, Python, Spark etc.
• Familiarity with preparing data for predictive and descriptive modeling, discover hidden patterns in data sets
• Proficient in webservices development and integration capabilities
• Exposure to applying software development practices including version control, agile/scrum, requirements definition and implementation, testing and build/deployment
• Excellent communication skills (written and oral). Ability to communicate what is relevant and important in a clear and concise manner
• Drive and motivation with the ability to handle multiple tasks and take initiative to improve personal performance

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with analytical/statistical/ML programming, particularly within Python/R
• Knowledge of basic statistics (Time Series Analysis, Correlation, Regression) and its application to data
• Experience with any visualization tool (PowerBI, Qlikview or Tableau)
• In depth knowledge on any python web frameworks and webservices
• Creativity/Innovation. Ability to create new ways to improve current processes and develop solutions that are grounded in reality and have practical value
