Title: Audit Executive - Top10 Professional Services Firm Location: ManchesterSalary: £35,000 - £38,000 + Extensive benefits As a result of a number of high profile client wins, this Top10 professional services firm is looking to strengthen its Manchester audit team with an Audit Executive to take responsibility for running audits for a diverse range of corporate clients (multi sector). Key responsibilities will cover: - Assisting in the planning, execution and finalisation of all areas of the audit assignment for manager or partner review, seeking input for areas of concern and judgement. - Spending a significant time at clients premises. - Identifying risk matters and raising with a manager and/or partner, while exercising judgement within agreed parameters. - Producing work for the Manager and/or Partner review clearly highlighting issues and providing potential solutions to issues identified. - Identifying and understanding client needs, suggesting potential solutions on technical matters and communicating and agreeing client needs and potential solutions with managers. - Taking primary responsibility for monitoring progress against budget. - Supervising, coaching and developing junior members of staff within teams, on client premises and in the office. Applicants should be newly qualified (ACA/ICAS Qualified or overseas equivalent), possess experience of supervising and coaching junior members of staff on site, working knowledge of UK and International GAAS, IFRS, UK GAAP and Financial Reporting requirements.
