Job Description

You will support Client advisory services by working with individual project teams, stakeholders and statutory utilities to contribute to the creation of high quality baseline management products, produce timely and accurate reports and create and maintainspecific records in relation to an Assurance function. You will carry out quality assurance through review and audit of New Roads & Street Work Act C2 - C9 processes to add value by providing industry knowledge. The role can be based in either Birmingham,Bedford or MancheterWhat youll be leading on

  • Contribute to and promote all matters relating to Statutory Utilities and New Roads & Street Work Act processes (C1-C9) in schemes across the Regional Investment Programme.
  • Contribute to the identification and evaluation of emerging Statutory Utilities Risks, issues and dependences and constraints associated with the Regional Projects and assist in developing and implementing solutions and mitigates to overcome these.
  • Liaise with legal services framework contract to manage specific utility works agreements
  • Actively assist in the management of regional utility organisational relationships to realise recordable Efficiencies.
To be successful
  • Understanding of Major Projects activities within project or programme management related to the Utilities sector.
  • Awareness and application in a project environment of New Roads & Street Work Act, HAUC and a good understanding of Highways Englands standards and advice notes, particularly SA10/05.
  • Evidence of manging Utilities stakeholder relationships and evidence of skills to influence relationships for positive outcomes especially the function of the Overseeing Organisational (OO) Agent.
  • Understanding of how utilities organisations are regulated
  • Evidence of commercial skills to negotiate and manage contracts to deliver outcomes and drive value in a collaborative setting.
  • An awareness and application of Primavera P6 in the coding of utility activites.
