Job Description

Responsible (but not accountable) for delivering the strategy for the range with support of buyer.Accountable for driving category performance, including sourcing, managing supply base and departmental kpisClient DetailsOne of Manchesters leading Fashion companies in their Trafford Park/ Salford Keys location.   • Ownership of buying a range.
  • Responsible (but not accountable) for delivering the strategy for the range with support of buyer.
  • Accountable for driving category performance, including sourcing, managing supply base and departmental kpis.
  • Understanding the marketplace, target customer and key competitors.
  • Presenting in trade, sign offs and range direction with directors.
  • Assist in the development of the supply base to ensure delivery of the strategy.
  • Develop trading opportunities and implement as commercially appropriate.
  • Review WSSI with merch on a weekly basis to ensure we are hitting monthly intake targets and leaving cash aside for repeats/otb.
  • Responsible for managing and developing the buying assistant
Profile
  • Previous fashion buying experience is essential
  • You must have previous buying experience as an Assistant Buyer or Senior Buying Admin Assistant
  • Excellent organisational, prioritisation and time management skills
  • Proven ability to work on own initiative and independently
  • highly self-motivated, enthusiastic and dynamic individual
  • Clear communicator
  • Team player
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
