Area Sales Manager - Stair & Platform Lifts Job Title: Area Sales Manager - Stair & Platform LiftsIndustry Sector: Construction Sales, Building Products, Building Materials, Platform Lifts, Staircase Lifts, Staircases, Lifts, Elevators, Access Controls, Area Sales Managers, Sales Manager, Sales, Specification Sales, Construction Sales, Architects, MainContractors, Sub Contractors, Homeowners, Domestic Sales, CommercialArea to be covered: NorthRemuneration: £38,000 - £42,000 + circa £15,000 bonusBenefits: fully expensed company car OR car allowance & benefits The role of the Area Sales Manager - Stair & Platform Lifts will involve:

  • Field sales position selling a manufactured range of platform & stair lifts
  • Majority of your time will be spent working on commercial projects selling to architects, main contractors & sub-contractors
  • The remaining portion of your time will be spent working on domestic projects and selling directly to homeowner
  • Will inherit a well-established area turning over £1.3m
  • Average order values will be between £15k-£25k
  • Inherit circa 200 accounts
  • Majority of your work will be across the M62
The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager - Stair & Platform Lifts with:
  • Must have construction field sales experience
  • Open in terms of what products or route to market you’ve sold to
  • Must be able to digest technical information
  • Wanted to grow with a forward thinking company
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills and good communication skills - both verbal and written
  • Hungry, go-getter with a dynamic personality
