Area Sales Manager - Roofing & CladdingJob Title: Area Sales Manager - Roofing & CladdingIndustry Sector: Building Products, Roofing & Cladding, Roofing Products, Roofing Fasteners, Rainscreen Cladding, Rainscreen Subframe, Building Envelope, Single Ply, Facades, Steel Framing Systems, Fixing Systems, Main Contractors, Sub Contractors, Installers,Fixings, Area Sales Manager, Sales Manager, Account Manager, Construction SalesArea to be covered: North Remuneration: £40,000 + £8,000 bonusBenefits: Jaguar company car & full benefits packageThe role of the Area Sales Manager - Roofing & Cladding will involve:

  • Field sales position selling a high quality range of roofing & cladding systems such as: single ply panel systems, standing seam roofs, roofing panels, fixings & fasteners and structural connectors
  • All of your time will be spent selling to sub-contractors / roofing contractors such as: RoofDek, Astro and FK Group
  • Inheriting a well-established area turnover circa £2.5m
  • Majority of your time will be focused managing 70 live spending accounts
  • Project sizes can vary from £100 - £250k depending on size and scope
  • Fantastic support with NSM and internal team
  • Typical projects include education, high rise residential, commercial office, healthcare and education
The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager - Roofing & Cladding with:
  • Must have construction field sales experience
  • Would consider someone thats sold to or worked for a builder merchant
  • Ideally sold to sub-contractors & know the difference between a main / sub-contractor
  • Ideally from the roofing & cladding industry (however open on products sold)
  • Must be able to pick up technical aspect of the role
  • Team player
  • Must want to growth and better your career
  • IT literate
  • Hardworking and resilient
