Job Description

Air Hygiene TeamManchesterOperative= £21,000-£24,000Supervisor= £25,000-£34,000 One of our key clients, a market leading specialist ventilation hygiene and legionella control company is forever growing and looking for the best talent within their industry. They provide complete high quality compliance solutions to building managersin all aspects of air and water hygiene as well as kitchen extract fire safety. They have been in business for over 40 years and are the only company to be recommended by AXA.This is a rewarding opportunity for an Air Hygiene/Ductwork Team to join a market leading company working at a variety of premises in the Northwest of England.Tasks & Duties of an Air Hygiene Team:

  • Ventilation inspections and testing.
  • Ductwork modifications and installing access panels.
  • Completing fire damper tests and inspections.
  • Air quality monitoring and reports.
  • AHU inspections and maintenance.
  • Canopy and grease trap cleans.
  • Kitchen extract grease readings and filter cleans.
  • Ductwork cleaning and disinfections in confined spaces and in accordance with TR19 and COSHH regulations.
Experience & Skills of a Duct Work Engineer:
  • A full UK driving license is essential for both positions.
  • You must be able to pass an enhanced DBS check.
  • Being trained in confined spaces and working at height will be beneficial.
  • Excellent communications skills both written and verbal.
  • Supervisor must have at least 2 years experience in a similar role & completing similar duties.
Normal working hours will be 8.00am to 4.15pm Mon-Thurs and 8.00am to 4.00pm Fridays. There will be some out of hours working for instance night shifts which are 8-10 hours.
