Job Description

Acoustic Consultant - ManchesterPenguin Recruitment is proud to be representing a global leader who provide engineering and consultancy services to high-profile challenges and projects across the world! My client operates in more than 40 countries worldwide and has over 45,000 employeeswho work across a range of environmental teams including air quality, EIA, ecology, acoustics, geological, sustainability, environmental policy & many more. They have an exciting opportunity for an Acoustic Consultant to join their team in Manchester and workingwith clients including HS2, National Grid & Homes England.This role has the flexibility to be based in London or Manchester initially.My client has had a large influx of work over the last several years so is seeking an Acoustician who can undertake duties including:

  • Noise surveys
  • Report writing
  • Fee proposals
  • Team management
  • Project management
Requirements:
  • Demonstrable experience working in a similar position with experience in noise modelling of transportation or energy schemes.
  • Educated to degree level in Acoustical Engineering - or hold a post-graduate qualification including the IOA Diploma.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • Willing to learn.
