I am currently representing and partnered with an extremely successful and forward-thinking sportswear organisation based in Manchester City Centre who are looking to recruit an Accounts Payable Manager due to ongoing expansion of the business. This roleis a fantastic opportunity for a AP Team Leader or Supervisor to take a step up and join a dynamic and vibrant workforce that are moving from strength to strengthAs the AP Manager, you will support all areas within Accounts Payable and will report into the Finance Manager. You will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks to ensure smooth running within the AP team.Key responsibilities:* Manage and motivate AP team consisting of 2 people* Processing and approving purchase invoices* Liaising directly with suppliers (Stock only) and responding to queries* Working with the Group Financial Controller and Finance Director on the management of supplier payments* Monthly review of supplier statement reconciliations* Lead on monthly employee expense process* Monthly credit card reconciliations* Development and coaching of team membersKey skills/experience required:* 5+ years experience working in AP * Multi-currency experience* Process improvement- implement and streamline processes* Experience of working within a fast-paced environment * Well organised, with the ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage competing demands* Ability to work independently and as part of a team* Excellent communication and relationship skills* Proficient IT skills including ExcelThis opportunity would suit a current manager, team-leader or supervisory candidate looking for a newRobert Walters Operations Limited is an employment business and employment agency and welcomes applications from all candidates
