Job Description

WAREHOUSE OPERATIVEManchester AirportUCH Logistics is a dynamic, customer focused provider of specialist transport services to the airfreight industry. Established in 2000, we have built a reputation for offering reliable time-sensitive and next day deliveries throughout the UK.We are seeking an additional Warehouse Operative to join our busy Late Shift operation to support the receiving, storing and movelment of a variety of freight destined for both domestic and international forwarding.The right candidates will ideally have:

  • A flexible and adaptable approach and the ability to make a valuable contribution to this busy team
  • Physical ability to unload freight and reload onto southbound trunkers
  • Fork Lift Truck operating experience essential (Counterbalance minimum)
  • An enjoyment of physical and varied work
  • The ability to exercise Quality Control with excellent attention to the quality of loads received
  • The ability to work within a busy environment to sometimes time critical deadlines
  • You must have a 5 year checkable work history.
In return, we are offering:
  • Up to £12.00 per hour
  • Monday to Friday Shift; 2.00pm to 12:00 Midnight
  • 28 Days Holiday (including public holidays), rising to 30 days after 2 years
