Job Description

Internal Sales RepresentativePackage:up to £25,000 uncapped commission, company car or car allowance, company matched pension, laptop and phone.Location: South ManchesterOur Client, a global freight and logistics business now have a fantastic vacancy for an Internal Sales Representative to join an established sales division with plenty of growth opportunities for earning potential and personal progression.You will be tasked with developing and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline by reaching out to potential prospects and promoting the client’s services within a designated area. Due to the nature of the industry, the business has remained busy throughout the current climate and there are also a large number of incoming / warm queries.Your duties and responsibilities include:

  • Identifying, establishing contact and building relationships with prospective clients in order to close new business.
  • Utilising the CRM and other sources to keep on top of existing accounts and manage ongoing pipeline
  • Providing detailed proposals and quotations to prospective clients as well as recording all key information.
  • Meeting set KPIs and budget targets, in line with the employer’s expectations
  • Liaising with other internal departments to minimise issues and ensure customer satisfaction
  • The successful candidate:
  • 2+ years of business development experience with a freight forwarder or similar
  • Customer-led approach and a strong relationship builder
  • Solid understanding of the freight / logistics industry and processes
  • A self starter and results orientated
  • Excellent attention to detail and time-keeping skills
