Job Title - Internal Sales ExecutiveSalary -Up to £28,000 DOE + company bonusWorking hours – Mon/Friday 9:00/17:30, 60 mins for lunchLocation - Manchester Airport Business ParkReed have partnered with awell-established freight and logistics company who is looking for a Sales Representative to join their commercial team in their brand-new Manchester office.The company has been in the industry for over 40 years, providing expert guidance and solutions to customers who need to import and export goods around the world. The company has a strong family culture and values, as well as a global network of partners andaffiliates in various regions.As a Sales Representative your duties include, but are not limited to:• generating new business opportunities for our company across all modes of transport (air freight, road freight and sea freight).• identify and qualify potential clients, as well as follow up on existing sales leads.• conduct outbound calls, send emails, use social media and other communication channels to build rapport and trust with prospects.• manage your own pipeline of opportunities, track your progress, and report on your results.To succeed in this role, you will need to have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You will also need to have a keen eye for detail, a proactive attitude, and a willingness to learn. You will be able to work collaboratively with differentteams within the company, such as operations, customer service, finance, and marketing. You will also be able to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced and competitive environment.We are looking for candidates who are interested in starting or developing their career in sales. We welcome applicants who have no previous sales experience but have a passion for customer service. We also welcome applicants who have previous sales experiencein any sector and are looking for a new challenge. Freight forwarding, logistics or shipping experience is desirable but not essential.
