An established electronics business in South Manchester (close to Manchester Airport) are looking for an Embedded C Software Engineer to join their R&D team.The business is recognized globally for their smart IoT solutions which has a positive impact on achieving a sustainable environment (something which is a hot topic of conversation in the current market).For this role you should be a competent Embedded Software Engineer who has good Embedded C Microcontroller/ Microprocessor experience. Experience doing Bare Metal or RTOS development is desirable. Experience working on devices that use low power wireless protocols to communicate (such as BLE, Bluetooth, WiFi or Zigbee) would be useful for this role (but is not essential).The position offers you chance to work on a mixture of development work. This could range from adding new features to an existing product, to developing a new product design from a set of customer requirements. As the products go into manufacture at a prompt rate after development, there is the chance to work on multiple product developments.In this role you will working within a friendly and outgoing Embedded Software Team, which is a mixture of Junior and Senior Embedded Software Engineers. As you will be a Senior/ Principal level of engineer in this role, it is expected for you to delicate some task work to the Junior Embedded Software Engineers, so that your experience is used in the most suitable way. You will also be supported by a very good Testing team.Aside from exciting low level Embedded C development work, the role offers you a lot of working flexibility.
